In the ghost town of Bad City, a lonely vampire (Sheila Vand) skateboards through the dark streets, preying upon men. When she meets sensitive and dreamy Arash (Arash Marandi), an unusual love story begins.

Diouana (Mbissine Thérèse Diop), a young Senegalese woman takes a job as a maid for a wealthy white couple, and leaves her home in Dakar for the coast of France. When she discovers her lowly status in the new household, she sinks into quiet rebellion and depression, finding fleeting escape in her dreams.

Transgender artist Tonia (writer-director Rovinelli) meets American boyfriend Franz (Thomas Love) in New York City, and begins work on an exhibition devoted to gay German author Ronald M. Schernikau. Forging a queer household with another young couple, Paul (Edem Dela-Seshie) and Erika (Rachika Samarth), they engage in protest and find their lives merging with Schernikau's 1980s novel So Schön.
