We are pleased to host China is Creative! organised by the ERC-funded research group ChinaCreative of the University of Amsterdam. This afternoon, we present a free screening of Yo Lin Shan's documentary Mirror from Heterotopia – 12 Hong Kong creative workers in Beijing and Shanghai. The presentation will be chaired by Chow Yiu Fai. 

One of the many striking traits of the xenophobia spreading across the Italian peninsula today is the lack of cultural memory it thrives on. For a long time Italian migration has been something so common and present in every family's history that when Bread and Chocolate (Pane e Cioccolata) came out with its comical but vivid portrait of life in a unwelcoming land, it was an immediate success.
