At turns lush, humorous, sincere, erotic, joyful, and intense, the prize-winning film (W/HOLE) forsakes traditional expectations of “porn” to create an unexpectedly textured landscape of desire. Amidst ecstatic water balloon fights, opulent feasts devoured without utensils, narrations of pleasure, lewd hand gestures, densely scored orgies, improvisational performance, and intense kink dynamics, (W/HOLE) proposes a new type of pornography: a world of queer sex that is at once surreally lush and intensely real.

Lluís Escribano, Ramón Massa, Enric Benz, Cesc Pérez and Alfons de Sierra were Els 5Ks (The Five Penises), a Catalonian queer filmmaking collective that made almost thirty films during the transition, following Franco's death in 1975. Their campy and fun narratives also worked on a deep ideological level, challenging social and political hypocrisy.

Entertaining yet militant documentary on Carmen and Gloria, two trans women with very different biographies and transition experiences. Carmen has been expressing herself as a woman since her teenage years and finds herself in a constant struggle for her individual freedom. Gloria only begins transitioning at the age of 45, in a precarious economic situation, and she doesn’t dare to openly confront her family and society.
